autumn outerwear

Labrador Jumper - Ebay

Overboard Chambray Jacket - Nastygal

Safari Style Jacket (?) - stylescout.blogspot.com

Oversized Bomber - Acne

Jean Net Jacket - Cheap Monday

Sheepskin Flying Jacket - Topshop

Fishtail Parka - ASOS Reclaimed

Utility Mix Pocket Shirt - Topshop

TFNC Vintage Military Style Parka - Asos
Also on my list are pale pink/grey oversized cable knit jumpers, hideous brown grandad jumpers, and lots of cheap jumpers bought and DIY'd to have a laddered effect. Pretty much all of the above items are about a million pounds out of my price range so I will be improvising and stealing my boyfriend's army jackets and wearing them with skinny waist belts instead of buying a new one that fits exactly the same but just costs £9649745745... I am also tempted to try and DIY a version of the net jean jacket by Cheap Monday. Seems simple enough really!

animal rings

turtle ring - CsCharms.etsy.com

croc two finger ring - haoshi.com

bunny ring - hipsterchic.com

seahorse ring - ebay

panther ring - ebay

owl ring - ebay

flamingo cameo ring - asos

After seeing the big ass deer ring that I posted a few days ago on hoyfashion, I keep noticing animal rings everywhere, so these are a few of my favourites. I did see a better owl ring in new look earlier today but its not up on the website, boo.

I think my favourite favourite is possibly the two finger crocodile one. Created by the Chinese design studio, Haoshi (means 'good things' in Chinese), this ring and the others in the series are all handmade and are meant to evoke a feeling of joy at everyday objects, so that all the 'good things' in the world are appreciated. Although handmade, therefore obviously not simple to make, the white plastic against the silver ring gives off such a clean aesthetic I just can't resist. The rest of the rings above are all pretty busy, and tacky ofc, and this is so different and so much more precise. It also carries a $95 price, so I suppose that sets it apart.

old lady river

vintage knit - somewhere in exeter, chinos - asos, necklace - new look, bracelets - various, bandana - paddy's

Outfit inspired mostly by old ladies. Beige trousers and a cream 80s knit, call me Vera. I thought the necklace/bracelets/bandana gave it a bit of a chola twist and made me look less elderly. Also my front room is awesome.

Today has mostly consisted of nearly crying at the end of come dine with me because the nice man won, being tired, housework, and listening to Bangers and AFI on repeat. Now I am going to eat cheese & onion mini bites from sainsburys, and look for some rad interior design ideas for my bedroom.

bralet shmalet

lace corset tank - nastygal

After months and months of futile searching for a decent bralet type thing, I think, maybe, perhaps, I have found the one. I found the one, before, however, on asos, but after a week of umm'ing and aah'ing over whether I could pull it off or not, I returned to find that it was sold out. I convinced myself this was a blessing in disguise, that maybe it was a sign from a higher power that it just wasn't meant to be. Bralets were not meant to be introduced to my wardrobe, perhaps.
However, the fact that I still want one so badly and have planned out several possible bralet ensembles in case I ever do get around to actually buying one, I think, points to the fact that all systems should be go on my wardrobe/bralet union.
So, I think it is obvious that I need to get this into my clothing collection asap, before I repeat the asos bralet heartbreak. They may say it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all, but I say 'Fuck that, I want this bralet'. So there.
